  • Same-Day Shipping cut-off time is 12:00 PM EDT
  • All orders received after 12:00 PM Monday thru Wednesday are shipped the following day
  • Orders received after 12:00 PM on Thursday are shipped the following MONDAY
  • DHL is our preferred carrier (and they have the best rates)

OVERNIGHT SERVICE
Overnight shipping is available to all states in the continental USA.  Most shipments arrive in 1 day, some extended or rural areas take more than 1 day (yes, even via an "Overnight" service).  If you are in an extended delivery area your order will be shipped as usual and you will be notified via e-mail when to expect your delivery.

If you would like to know if you are in an extended delivery area BEFORE placing your order, go to the DHL website, enter OUR zip code (30907) in the Origin Postal Code box, and YOUR zip code in the Destination Postal Code box to calculate Transit Times to your location.  Please note that we offer Ground service ONLY to certain states as listed below.

LIMITED GROUND SERVICE
From our location (Georgia) we offer GROUND shipping of live crickets & worms to the following states ONLY!  Most addresses in these states receive Ground shipments overnight. Some do take two days... however, the typical moderate climate makes that acceptable so we still provide our live delivery guarantee.

If you live outside these states you must select an OVERNIGHT service for live insects.  Your order will not be accepted if you live outside these states and you choose GROUND service.

SPECIAL SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Private carriers do not provide space for special shipping instructions on their delivery labels; however, we will try to accommodate SIMPLE instructions as space allows on any unused address lines of your shipping label.  Please be aware that the carriers are under no obligation to follow (or even read) any special delivery instructions.  DOA or damage as a result of carrier failure to follow special delivery instructions is not covered under our live delivery guarantee.

NO US POSTAL SERVICE SHIPPING
US Postal Service delivery is not as reliable as private carriers for live products. Packages cannot be tracked during the delivery process and are sometimes completely lost. Therefore, the only product we ship via the USPS is the Can-of-Ghann’s Crickets-in-a-Can (because it’s CHEAP, and the other carriers won’t take a cylindrical package), but it is NOT GUARANTEED IN ANY WAY!

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION E-MAILS
All web orders receive an e-mail confirmation when your order is shipped containing tracking info and a link to the carrier website so you may track your shipment.  (Orders not placed on our website also get a confirmation if you have provided us with your e-mail address).

PHYSICAL STREET ADDRESS REQUIRED FOR DELIVERY
Post Office Box addresses are not acceptable for delivery - DHL & UPS will NOT deliver to a PO box.  We must have a private carrier approved address (a physical street address)!

AVAILABLE SHIPPING AREAS
Small orders are shipped within the 48 contiguous United States ONLY (we currently do not ship small orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, or internationally).  We DO however ship LARGE orders to destinations outside the US (see "International Orders" below).

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - 100k Crickets Minimum
We do ship large orders via air freight to customers in many countries around the world.  If you are outside of the continental United States and wish to place a large order (over 100,000 crickets per shipment) contact our International Sales Department for a price quote on large volume cricket orders. You can reach the International Sales Department by e-mailing websales@ghann.com and placing "INTERNATIONAL" in the subject line of your e-mail.
